Obama will move the country forward

One in four Californians do not have health care, many right here in northern San Diego County. That is not right, and we need a leader who can finally fix it. Obama is also the only candidate who has opened an office in San Diego and hired a full-time staff member to focus on San Diego County.Living here in northern San Diego County, we each wrestle with many complex issues. Many of us have friends or relatives deployed in the armed services. Many young men who live in this area have been deployed to Iraq. Some have died there.Their absence has a devastating impact on their families, particularly at this time of year, and the local economy. One of my friends, the wife of a deployed Marine, was just relating to me how difficult it is with her husband on his second tour, anticipating his return in January only to learn that he is being extended two more months. The day he takes office, Obama will begin to bring our combat troops home, while putting in place a plan to secure the stability of Iraq and the security of our troops as a phased withdrawal begins.America deserves a leader with a dexterous, open mind in what is sure to be a critical period in our nation's history.

History tells Ashton England must win or disaster looms

No one seriously quarrels with his contention that time is too short and the occasion too fraught for a mass injection of youth. But England have only two home games in this championship and the second of them, against Ireland on the concluding weekend, may have a direct bearing on the destiny of the title. Either Ashton bloods a couple of youngsters now or he waits until next season. Sending a whole raft of untried hopefuls on tour to New Zealand this June would be suicidal. "You don't throw a young child into the swimming pool without armbands," cautions Lawrence Dallaglio. "Please, let's not wait until England are in Auckland or Christchurch before Danny Cipriani or James Haskell are selected."

There is also the question of how best to handle the sizeable bonus called Lesley Vainikolo, the bible-carrying Tongan whom England hope will add some old testament fire and brimstone to their attacking game.

Want to advertise your business online? Beware of click fraud

PORTLAND, Ore. - Click fraud has been called the dark side of online advertising, a type of Internet crime aimed at running up bills and cutting down the competition - one click at a time.

Every time you use Google or Yahoo, there are always links at the top of the list for sponsored sites and they do not pop up there by mistake.

Business owners pay for those links. It's called pay-per-click advertising and for many small businesses, it's a great way to attract new business.

However, there is a down side.

Scott Hendison used pay-per-click advertising for an insurance business.

One day, he noticed his bill was increasing, but there was no increase in actual leads. Someone had been fraudulently clicking on his ad and running up his bill, with no intent on using his services.
