The judge also froze the assets of the company and its executives and allowed federal regulators to inspect and copy the company's business records. Its implementation, in the good old Canadian way, has moved at something less than the speed of an iPhone transmission. .

Home security saleswoman goes door-to-door after Hallman beating
Kelli Zerbel went house to house on Lapeer street, just doors from where Ruth Hallman was found beaten in her home this afternoon, soliciting famlies to sign up for an APX home security system. Zerbel said she was planning to canvass the neighborhood today and when she arrived she saw the crime scene. She said she approached police officers to ask for permission to solicit and was told she was allowed to. I was supposed to be here anyway but after I saw that (crime scene), I was like Wow, what if I had talked to that lady yesterday? Then that might not have happened, she said. Llvester Sharp, 24, was solicited by the security saleswoman. He lives three doors down from Hallman. He said it was a little bit too soon for anyone to be coming by to sell home security systems.
